Swedish exchange student Mao Moreau has been living with her Mandurah family since July this year while attending Mandurah Catholic College.
She said her English had improved since arriving and she was enjoying everything about Mandurah.
“It’s beautiful and I will definitely return when I finish my final year of education in Sweden,” she said.
“We don’t have religious schools in Sweden so it has been different attending one, but the people are lovely and made me feel very welcome.”
German exchange student Moritz Von Pander is attending the catholic college with Moa and said he had enjoyed the sport scene in Mandurah.
“I joined the Peel Rebels Hockey Club when I arrived and we just won the grand final which was really fun,” he said.
“But my favourite activity has been crabbing.”
During the week the exchange students met with the Mandurah and Perth students who will be travelling to overseas schools in February next year.
