The Coodanup man facing charges in relation to a paedophile ring faced Mandurah Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning.

Mark Wesley Liggins is accused of two counts of intending to expose a child under 13 to indecent matter, two counts of procuring a child under 13 for sexual activity, one count of possessing child exploitation material, two counts of using electronic communication to expose a child under 16 to indecent matter and three counts of using electronic communication with intent to procure a person under the age of 16 to engage in sexual activity.
He has also been charged with possessing cannabis and drug paraphernalia.
The charges relate to horrific child sex allegations involving a 13-year-old girl.
Liggins is among eight charged in relation to offences which allegedly spanned two years.
He was not required to plead and refused to comment on the charges.
The matter was adjourned for four weeks to allow Mr Liggins to make a legal aid application.
His bail was extended and he was ordered to appear again on September 1.
