UPDATE 11pm: Major Crime Squad have arrested and charged a 47-year-old male with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm following the discovery of a deceased male in the carport of a unit at 15 Boundary Road, Dudley Park.
The accused has been refused bail and will appear in the Northbridge court on Sunday morning.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be confirmed and the next of kin has not been formally notified.
The charge may be upgraded pending the outcome of a post mortem examination.
EARLIER: POLICE are continuing a door-knock of homes surrounding the scene of a suspected murder in Mandurah.
Forensic officers and major crime detectives are also at the Boundary Road crime scene.
Police were called to an address on the street about 7am Saturday following reports of a body being found.
They have since confirmed they are investigating the suspected murder of a man.
At least four people have been taken in by police for questioning, although there has been no confirmation a suspect has been arrested.
A cordon remains in place between Pinjarra Road and Creery Street.
