A GREENFIELDS man charged following a search of his Teranca Road property in February faced Mandurah Magistrates Court on Friday.
Jordan Alan De Jong pleaded guilty to possession of a prohibited weapon and possession of unlawfully obtained property after a stolen taxi registration plate and a stun gun disguised as a torch were found in his bedroom.
He also pleaded guilty to possession of ecstasy with intent to supply.
The court heard Gang Crime officers swooped on De Jong’s home on February 19.
The offender was not present at the time of the search but was later interviewed at Curtin House in Northbridge and made admissions to police.
Counsel for De Jong said both the registration plate and the weapon had been gifts to his client and had not been used.
Magistrate Vivien Edwards fined De Jong $800 plus costs of $332.30.
He will face Perth District Court on the more serious drug charge on June 19.
