RYAN Warwick and Greg and Skye Bond teamed up at Gloucester Park on Friday night to give local supporters something to cheer about.
Warwick, driving for the Bonds, was able to steer Lunar Tide to the win in race two, edging out favourite and another Bond-trainer pacer Black Mr Mach driven by Colin Brown.
Warwick recorded his second win of the meet with another Bond-trained pacer Everton VC.
It was a hat trick of wins for the Bonds and Warwick when he crossed the line first in the next race of the meet with Delightful Offer in its first race of the year.
The pacer has now placed in 10 of its 14 race starts.
Other locals to win at the meet included Chris Voak with Local Rogue, Clinton Hall steered John of Arc to the win for Gary Hall junior and Michael Grantham won for Michael Brennan with Mantoman.
At Bunbury the following night Dylan Egerton-Green produced a winning double.
Egerton-Green opened his account in race two, winning behind My Darcee. He recorded his second win two race later with Aussie Jet, it was the pacer’s ninth placing from his past 12 races.
Justin Prentice trained and drove Captain Oats to the post first as favourite and backed it up with another training/driving win with Lively Shard.
Kaiden Hayter rounded out the local winners, training and driving Ta For Mumma to the win.
Locals dominated the Central Wheatbelt meet on Sunday winning seven of the nine races. Warwick recorded his second trifecta of wins for the weekend winning behind Swimbetweentheflags, Simply Susational and Machs A Pearler for the Bonds.
Voak won behind Vanesia in race two and backed it up in race four with Soho Monza.
Other local winers included Kyle Harper with Debt Free Charlie and Egerton-Green with Firth of Tay.
At Pinjarra’s public holiday meet on April 6 Colin Brown and Voak enjoyed doubles.
Brown had success in race three with Bungalow Bill for the Bonds before crossing the line first with Delightful Offer again for the Bonds.
Voak took top honours with the Kade Howson-trained New World order in race two and backed it up later in the meet with Black With Bling.
Clinton Hall had a win behind Indomitable and Justin Prentice had success with All Aussie Boy.
The result of yesterday’s meet at Pinjarra was unknown at the time of print. Pacing will continue at Pinjarra next Monday.
