Man cut from car after Mandurah Terrace crash

A MAN was cut from a car after hitting a tree off Mandurah Terrace near Reserve Drive on Friday afternoon.

Mandurah Terrace northbound was closed, with traffic diverted down Tindale Street and delays were also experienced for traffic heading south.

The male driver of the vehicle was cut out of the car by firefighters and was placed in an ambulance.

The driver was transported to Royal Perth Hospital.

There are no details on injuries at this time but RAC rescue helicopter was called and was later stood down.

The scene caused a second accident between a car and a scooter on the opposite side of the road, however no injuries were sustained.

People were urged to avoid the area.
