LOCAL drivers dominated Friday night’s meet at Gloucester Park with a South West driver finishing first in nine of the 10 races.
Chris Voak got proceedings off to a good start with a win behind Addfueltofire, the gelding’s second consecutive win.
Serpentine-based driver Lauren Jones recorded the win in the second race of the night for Gary Hall senior with American Muscle before Aiden De Campo produced a good win behind Ti Amo Franco in race three.
Justin Prentice trained and drove Lively Shard to first in the next before Colin Brown did the same in race five, training and riving Erskine Range to the win.
The pacer has now won three of its past four races for the local trainer. Other winners included Chris Lewis with Sensational Gabby, Kade Howson behind Pacific Warrior, Morgan Woodley with Hawkeye Bromac and Gary Hall junior with Westernator USA.
At Albany on Saturday night Maddi Brown returned to the winners’ list with Disco Spirit though it was Ryan Warwick who stole the show with a double.
Warwick recorded wins for trainers Greg and Skye Bond in back-to-back races with Our Ideal Act and Assassinator.
The Bonds also had success when Bronson Chabros steered Swimbetweentheflags later in the program.
Michael Grantham rounded out the wins for the local contingent with Sproxton in the final race.
Pacing will return to Pinjarra next Monday.
