UPDATE 3.40pm: THE power in San Remo is estimated to be restored by 6pm, however it is unknown when power will return to Madora Bay properties.
UPDATE 12.06pm: MEADOW Springs homes now have power, however San Remo and Madora Bay properties are still in darkness.
It is estimated the power will be restored in these areas by 3pm.
PREVIOUSLY: MORE than 2000 Mandurah homes are without power this morning after thunderstorms knocked out part of the local network.
Meadow Springs properties have been the worst hit with homes in San Remo and Madora Bay also in darkness.
A number of traffic lights are out of order with delays in Meadow Springs and Madora Bay.
A Western Power spokesperson said crews were currently in the area and were working on restoring power as soon as possible.
The estimated restoration time is midday.
