COMPETITORS descended on South Yunderup from January 7 to 15 for the National Radio Sailing Championships.
A worldwide sport, radio sailing sees skippers control their yachts by radio control and follows the same rules and regulations as full-sized yachting.
Three different classes were sailed at the competition including A-class, 10 Rater and one-metre.
The A-class national championship was won by Graham Bantock from Great Britain.
Western Australians Glenn Dawson and Jeff Green came second and third.
Bantock backed up his win in the 10 Rater class with another win.
Scott Condie and Phil Page from New South Wales rounded out the top three.
In the one-metre class it was again Bantock who recorded a narrow win over Ross Bennett from WA.
Scott Backhouse from NSW was third.
