WHETHER the sleigh is at the mechanics, the reindeer are subject to quarantine restrictions, or you fancy a few sips of egg nog this Christmas, be a smart rider and catch the train or bus this festive season.
Services are running throughout the festive season – even Christmas Day.
Transperth spokesman David Hynes said there were lots of reasons to catch public transport.
“It’s very economical – a family of two adults and up to five children can travel all day for only $11.80 on a FamilyRider,” he said.
“If you are looking to indulge – sensibly of course – in some Christmas cheer, you can have peace of mind knowing that someone else is driving.
“Of course, while we are operational, our services will be running on different timetables.
“For this reason, I’d encourage all of our passengers to look ahead and plan their journey to ensure they get to their celebrations on time and with minimal fuss.”
