UPDATE 2.30PM: Target Australia has confirmed the Meadow Springs store will remain closed for two weeks after substantial damage was caused when a stolen car crashed through the front entrance.
The vehicle hit a bollard and burst into flames, causing the store's internal sprinkler system to activate, effectively flooding the store.
"Unfortunately the damage to the stock and the store is significant, and at this stage we believe it will be at least two weeks before the store can re-open," a spokesperson said.
The spokesperson was able to confirm Christmas layby items were unaffected in the damage with that stock held in a back area.
Two men, a 37-year-old from Greenfields and a 35-year-old from Ocean Reef, are still waiting to front the Mandurah Magistrates Court.
The damage bill has been estimated at $2.5million.

10.30AM: Mandurah detectives have charged a second man in relation to Monday night's ram raid on Target in Meadow Springs.
It will be alleged the duo used a stolen gold Land Rover to drive into the front of the store and gain access to the shop.
A 37-year-old Greenfields man will face Mandurah Magistrates Court today with a 35-year-old Ocean Reef man who was arrested and charged in the early hours of this morning.
The men are facing a string of charges including aggravated burglary, steal motor vehicle, criminal damage and stealing.
Target's damage bill has been estimated at $2.5million.

9.30AM: Target Australia has confirmed no layby items were affected by Monday night's ram raid on the Meadow Springs store.
A stolen Land Rover Discovery crashed through the front entrance and caught fire about 11.30pm, causing the store's internal sprinkler system to activate.
A Target Australia spokesperson confirmed this morning no layby items have been affected.
"Thankfully customer layby items are held in the back of the Meadow Springs store, and are not affected by the incident," the spokesperson said.
There has been no word on when the store will re-open.
A 35-year-old Ocean Reef man remains in custody and will appear in Mandurah Magistrates Court.

7AM: Meadow Springs Target remains closed after a stolen vehicle was rammed through its front entrance.
According to police a gold Land Rover Discovery, stolen from a Mandurah home about 7.50pm Monday night, was used to drive into the front of the Rochester Way shop about 11.30pm.
The vehicle went over the top of a bollard and subsequently caught fire.
It is believed the male driver was able to gain access to the store before fleeing the scene.
On Tuesday morning, Mandurah detectives charged a 35-year-old Ocean Reef man with a number of offences including burglary.
He will appear in Mandurah Magistrates Court today in custody.
The Target store sustained significant damage in the incident and remains closed.
The damage bill has been estimated at $2.5million after the fire triggered the store's internal sprinkler system.
