BRENDON Jones capped off a great season with Peel Thunder to win his second Dudley Tuckey Medal on Saturday night.
The talented midfielder was the standout player for the Thunder winning the best and fairest medal with 137 votes, 76 ahead of runner up Jacob Ballard.
Sam Menegola placed third with 60 votes ahead of Anthony Morabito on 59 in a close battle for the runner up trophy.
Jones was the only player to play every game for Peel this year where he averaged 24 disposals a game.
The 28-year-old announced his retirement at the end of the 2013 season and signed with Peel Football League club Halls Head but was coerced to play on with the decision proving to be the right one.
Jones previously won the award in 2012 and was runner up in 2013, 2011 and 2010 as well as Perth’s best and fairest in 2008.
Corey Morris pipped Kyle Westwood to win the Reserves best and fairest with Toby Gianatti in third.
Luke Shepherd won the Colts award ahead of Sam Shackles and Kyle Shanahan.
