Tuesday 8.30am: Police have concluded their investigation into the death of man in Dudley Park.
The 75-year-old was found deceased inside his Goomarl Street home after the hours-long siege ended.
His 67-year-old wife was taken to Peel Health Campus after she was shot in an earlier altercation with her husband.
The victim was discharged from hospital on Monday afternoon.
A report on the man's death will now be prepared for the Coroner.
1.15pm: A 67-year-old woman is still being treated at Peel Health Campus after she sustained gunshot wounds in an altercation with her husband at a Dudley Park home.
Her husband, a 75-year-old man, was found dead at the scene after TRG stormed the home he was holed up in.
Three guns were found inside the home.
Police are continuing their investigation into the incident with forensic police now at the scene.
12.40pm: Police have re-opened Boundary Road now that a siege in Dudley Park has ended. Other road closures are in place and according to police, will remain closed for several hours.
Forensic officers are due to arrive at the scene shortly as investigations into the armed man's death continues.
12.20pm: Police have confirmed the man at the centre of an armed siege in Dudley Park is dead.
The man's body was found at the Goomarl Street property stormed by TRG officers earlier on Monday.
No confirmation on how the man died has been given.
His next of kin has been notified.
12pm: Police are still at the scene in Dudley Park with the earlier siege now over.
A media conference will be held shortly at the scene with an announcement on the outcome expected to be made.
Police have yet to confirm the man is deceased.
His wife is currently being treated at Peel Health Campus for gunshot wounds sustained in the earlier dispute.
Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
11.15am: TRG have departed the scene without a man in custody.
At this stage it is unclear what the outcome of the siege was. Paramedics, who earlier entered the Goomarl Street home after the TRG raid, have re-entered the home with police.
According to Mandurah Mail reporter Kate Hedley at the scene, detectives are now speaking with witnesses to the siege.
No official comment has been made by police in relation to the outcome at the scene.
Streets surrounding the property are still closed by police and residents are still unable to return to their homes.
10.45am: TRG have stormed a home in Dudley Park in the attempt to locate a man believed to be armed with several firearms.
No known outcome at this stage.
10.15am: TRG are at the scene of a siege in Dudley Park.
Officers have cordoned off the area. According to police, officers were called to the Goomarl Street home just after 8am after a woman was shot at the property.
The victim managed to run from the home to a nearby address on Boundary Road where she sought assistance.
The woman was taken to hospital and her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
10am: The City of Mandurah has issued an urgent safety warning with the gunman still holed up inside a Goomarl Street home.
"Please be advised that there is an armed offender incident occuring in the vicinity of Goomarl Street and Boundary Road in Dudley Park," the warning says.
"Police are asking residents in the area to stay in doors until such time as the incident is resolved."
The warning has confirmed that students at Dudley Park Primary School are not in any danger.
"The school is out of the cordoned zone and they have taken necessary precautions to restrict access to the school grounds," the warning says.
9.30am: Police are at the scene in Dudley Park with TRG still on their way.
The man is believed to have shot his wife and is still armed with several firearms alone in a home on Goormal Street.
Surrounding streets have been cordoned off as police have the area in lockdown.
An ambulance is present as police await TRG's arrival.
8.45am: Dudley Park residents are advised to stay indoors as police close in on an armed gunman.
Police have cordoned off streets and according to Mandurah officer in-charge Dean Snashall, residents on Goomarl Street, Boundary Road, Churchill Avenue and Dadger Street are advised to stay indoors.
Described as a dangerous situation, the tactical response group is on their way to the scene.
According to police, the man's wife has been shot and fled the scene.
The armed gunman is reported to have several firearms and is believed to have locked himself inside a home on Goomarl Street.
Snr sgt Snashall said students at Dudley Park Primary School are not in any danger.
