YOGA, fishing and a pirate-themed treasure hunt are some of the free activities on offer in Seascapes next month.
The Coastal Lifestyle Events series is a calendar of free activities run by Mirvac.
Mirvac Western Australian development director of masterplanned communities Kim Lawrance said Coastal Lifestyle Events would provide something for all ages and abilities.
“You don’t need to be a resident at Seascapes; we welcome everyone to enjoy the free events, whether it’s something you know and love or an activity you have never tried,” he said.
“The beach, parks, playgrounds, shops and facilities available at Seascapes make it the perfect place to spend a mild WA winters day, so come along, meet up with friends and family and relax in a welcoming coastal community.”
The month of Coastal Lifestyle Events starts with Tai Chi at the Seascapes amphitheatre this Saturday and ends with a guided Halls Head trail walk on Sunday, August 24.
Local pilates instructor Roechelle Bidesi will teach a pilates and yoga class this Sunday at the Seascapes amphitheatre.
“The Seascapes management group invited me because I’m really interested in community events,” she said.
“The fact that it’s exercise outdoors and it’s for free is even better.”
There will also be a pirate-themed treasure hunt party on Saturday, August 23 at the Seascapes amphitheatre.
The day coincides with the first release of The Village at Seascapes, which features 37 homesites from $189,000.
All activities start at 10am with participants required to RSVP online and register attendance on the day from 9am.
Spaces are limited and RSVPs are essential.
Free event packs will be available for the first 50 people at seascapesevents.mirvac.com.
