A COODANUP woman who lured a convicted drug dealer to his death has shown no remorse for her actions, a Perth court has heard.
Danielle Kovac, 28, was found guilty of manslaughter in March this year for her role in a Rivervale drug death.
Ms Kovac lured convicted drug felon Mite Naumovski to a Nollamara house in September 2011 where her partner Paulo Nunzio Stagno, 30, repeatedly shot the 38-year-old in a dispute over a drug debt.
Mr Naumovski’s bullet-riddled body was later found wrapped in plastic outside a Rivervale hotel.
Appearing in the Perth Supreme Court on Thursday, the court found Ms Kovac helped clean up the crime scene, hid the firearm and cartridges and later wilfully misled police in the investigation into Mr Naumovski’s death.
Ms Kovac’s defence lawyer argued his client committed the acts under duress but the 28-year-old later contradicted herself by claiming she did not know her partner would be armed when she took Mr Naumovski to him under false pretences.
Ms Kovac and her partner Mr Stagno both pleaded not guilty to murdering Mr Naumovski, with Mr Stagno claiming he acted in self-defence.
A jury acquitted the duo of murder but found both guilty of the lesser charge of manslaughter.
The pair will be sentenced in the Perth Supreme Court on August 11.
Facing other charges, Ms Kovac appeared in Mandurah Magistrates Court via video link from Bandyup Women’s Prison on Friday.
She is yet to plead to two charges including disorderly behaviour and threats to injure, endanger or harm.
Ms Kovac was remanded in custody to appear in Mandurah Magistrates Court on August 15 where she is expected to enter pleas.
