A BURNT out car believed to have been involved in Monday morning's bank blast in Waroona has been found in Coodanup.
According to police the dark-coloured Holden Commodore utility was found at the corner of Wanjeep Street and Silvergum Avenue in Coodanup about 7.30am; almost four hours after the blast took place in Waroona.
Police believe three offenders went to the Bendigo Bank on the South Western Highway to target the building's ATM.
The trio caused an explosion, damaging the entire building as money sprayed from the machine.
At this stage police believe the money may have blown from Waroona to as far as Mandurah, such was the force of the blast.
Anyone who finds the money is asked to hand it in to their local police station.
At this stage, it appears one of the offenders may have been injured in the blast.
Police would like to speak to anyone with any information regarding this incident, and anyone who may have seen the vehicle in any of the above areas.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
