FROM April 20-May 4, sculptures can be discovered along a sculpture walk around Administration Bay as part of the new Drift Sculptural exhibition.
Organiser and facilitator Jeannette Vernooij organised the sculptures and encouraged artists to exhibit their work to the public during Stretch.
A people’s choice award in planned for the event, which includes 23 works from 15 high calibre artists, some of who have exhibited nationally and internally.
These works will be at 23 different locations in and around Administration Bay – some will be in the water and on the island.
The works can be viewed from the platform at Ac-cent Mandurah or from anywhere around Administration Bay.
Artist statements will be placed alongside the artworks to allow the public to read about the inspiration for each piece.
The Drift Sculpture exhibition’s opening event will be held at CASM on Easter Sunday, at 4pm.
