HALLS Head Small Animal Clinic was recognised for years of service with the Mandurah Wildlife Rescue recently.
Veterinarian Richard Gibson said he was glad he could give up his time to help the group treat injured wildlife like kangaroos.
“We couldn’t run without Richard – it would cost us a fortune to treat the animals otherwise, about $42,000 per year,” Mandurah Wildlife Rescue founder Dot Terry-Bos said.
Ms Terry-Bos and Reini Bos presented Mr Gibson with a photo board illustrating the animals they work with and their appreciation for Mr Gibson’s work.
Mandurah Wildlife Rescue are currently seeking volunteers and anyone who is interested can call 9582 3938.
