AN ATM in Halls Head has been the target of another suspected deliberate blast.
Fire crews were called to the Centro Halls Head on Guava Way about 4am with reports of the ATM on fire.
Crews were able to douse the blaze before it damaged the rest of the shopping centre.
The ATM, on the outside wall of the centre, sustained significant damage.
The blast is the third for the Peel region after similar ATM fires in Secret Harbour and Meadow Springs.
In December 24-year-old James Egan was acquitted of an involvement in seven ATM blasts across the State.
Prosecutors had alleged Mr Egan, together with associates, had driven to shopping centres across the State and pumped gas into the ATMs before using an accelerant to ignite the machines.
Centro Halls Head is currently closed with arson investigators on the scene.
It is not yet known if the shopping centre will reopen today.
