About 6.45 on August 11, a man entered the Dudley Park Deli in Coodanup and grabbed a female staff member by the arm and demanded she open the cash register.
He was disturbed by a male staff member and left the scene empty handed.
The man was wearing khaki pants, a long sleeved cream coloured hooded jacket, black gloves and black shoes.
He had covered his face with a white mesh mask and had a grey backpack.
Anyone who believes they can identify the man or assist with the inquiries should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
