Mining workers added some glitter to their high-vis and hard hats on Saturday, at Perth's 30th annual Pride Parade.
About 100 employees from mining giant, Alcoa joined in on the celebrations, marching proudly through Gloucester Park in support of Western Australia's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, asexual and questioning (LGBTIQA) community.

"At Alcoa, we're building an 'everyone culture', where everyone can come to work and feel safe, equal and valued for who they are and the diversity of ideas and experiences they bring.
"These events help make a difference by putting LGBTI inclusion on the agenda, and I know they make a difference to the lives of our employees, their friends and families," Mr Hodgson said.
"We were proud to march alongside members of the LGBTI community and allies from business and community groups in a fun and public display of support and celebration."
This year's Perth Pride festival included a fair day at Hyde Park, with all events sharing the theme RESPECT.
Alcoa was just one of many companies, sport clubs and community groups which joined the celebrations, in efforts to champion the rights and freedoms of those within the pride community.
The company's participation in the Perth Pride WA march was coordinated by Alcoa's LGBTI ally network, Employees at Alcoa for Gay, Lesbian, bisexual and transgender Equality, (EAGLE).
The Alcoa team was the first resources company to march in the Pride Parade in 2014 and the company became supporting partner of Pride WA in 2019.
Earlier this year, Alcoa was acknowledged as a leading resources company by the Australian Workplace Equality Index.
