South Halls Head students were assigned the task of making the world a better place and did just that.
Inspired by the novel, 'Pay It Forward' many kids decided to hold a market stall to raise funds for charity. All profits were donated to a charity of their choice.
One group decided to clean up the neighbourhood and collect 'Containers for Change'.
They are now creating a school 'Clean Up Club' which will be made up of young student volunteers who will clean up the school during breaks. The students have created badges for the volunteers to wear.
Others collected donations for homeless and domestic violence victims while some made fun activities to do with younger students.
By the end of the term they hope to have all made the world a better place in some small way, learnt how to think about others and be grateful for their lives.
