South Mandurah continued their winning ways with a 33 run victory over Mandurah to carve themselves a stronger lead at the top of the Peel Cricket Association (PCA) A Grade ladder.
In the remaining Round Seven matches, Shoalwater Bay defeated Warnbro Swans, White Knights Baldivis easily accounted for the Singleton Irwinians, Halls Head brushed aside Pinjarra and Waroona inflicted a huge defeat to the Secret Harbour Dockers.
The Mandurah derby pitted the competition's top two sides against each other in a hard fought battle to claim top spot.
Falcons won the toss and decided to bat, setting a competitive 177 run total for Mandurah to chase.
Falcons skipper Matt Hill was a top scorer (51) and Ian Lattimore continued his good form with the ball for Mandurah taking 3/18.
In reply Mandurah had a horror start with skipper Jordan Bell dismissed for a duck, but a strong partnership between Tom Balkwill (40) and Joel Marion (14) of 62 got the run chase back on track.
Balkwill was then dismissed by Falcons skipper Matt Hill, and the wickets kept falling steadily in Mandurah's reply.
Eventually Mandurah were bowled out for 144 handing South Mandurah bragging rights with their 33-run win.
Shoalwater Bay were able to chase down the 128 run target set by Warnbro to win by two wickets, finishing 8/128.
Dudley Cortland was the top scorer for Warnbro with 35 runs, while Dane Ugle was Warnbro's best with 31. Phillip Carrol took 4/21 for Shoalwater.
White Knights Baldivis made the most of an understrength Singleton Irwinians with a 52 run win over the reigning Wyllie Cup holders.
Ben Sharp was leading wicket taker for the Knights with 4/20, while the Irwinians were only able to reach a total of 112 in reply to White Knights' 164.
Halls Head continued their solid form with a comprehensive 8 wicket victory, easily accounting for Pinjarra's total of 136 with more than 30 overs to spare.
Jack Manuel continued his excellent season with the bat, remaining 73 not out off only 53 balls, with 13 boundaries.
The final game saw the Waroona Warriors demolish the Secret Harbour Dockers by 8 wickets having bowled the Dockers out for a miserly 78 runs.
Jayden DeRosa was chief destroyer with 4/24 for Waroona whilst Brandon Burt made 47 off 47 balls for Waroona's reply, claiming victory within 15 overs and the match completed in 50 overs.
In B Grade, Robert Furzer scored 107 for North Baldivis in their 112 run victory versus Mandurah, a club record individual score for the Bulls.
Rohit Nair took 5/33 for Hillman in their tight 3 wicket win over Secret Harbour.
Other outstanding individual performances across other grades in the PCA included 100 not out for Baldivis' Nick Pavlovic, Angus Jacobs taking 6/18 for Hillman, Matt Duggan taking 5/34 for White Knights Baldivis and Aden Chinnery collecting 5/16 for Halls Head.
Steve Srhoj made a fantastic 107 not out score for Mandurah, and Riley Arrowsmith landed an even 100 not out for Pinjarra while Gavin Rowe took 5/16 for Warnbro Swans.
