Mandurah residents commemorate Remembrance Day 2021 | Photos

It was on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month when the Germans called for an armistice to end World War I in 1918.

Over 100 years on the traditions that blossomed from that exact moment in time remain close to heart for many Australians.

November 11 then became a day to reflect and honour the lives of those lost while fighting in all wars and conflicts. This year's Remembrance Day was the 103rd anniversary of the armistice.

So, like all of Australia, Mandurah residents reserved a minutes silence to pay their respects to past servicemen and women on Thursday.
