Brew Fest 

October 15 - 17

Peel's only beer festival is back in a big way. Try the best of WA beer plus cider, wine and cocktails across two venues - The Bridge Garden Bar and Brighton Hotel. It starts with Frothy Friday, before heading into the weekend with Warm Up Saturday, Sippy Saturday Night, and Family Fun Day on Sunday. Join Whitelakes Brewing as it celebrates the launch of a limited edition release called Amber Lager. Dress up in your best Oktoberfest costume and you will get a spin on the beer wheel where you can win beer, merch, magnets or stickers. Everyone who gets a ticket will go into the draw to have a free table of food and drinks for up to six people. Visit the Whitelakes Brewing's website for more information and to get tickets.

We Must Get Together Sometime exhibition

October 17

Join artists and guest speakers in a travelling celebration of the We Must Get Together Some Time exhibition between CASM and MPAC. It starts at MPAC at 2pm, heads to Koolbardi Bidi garden for a smoking ceremony at 3pm and ends at CASM at 3.30pm.

Hybrid pitch launch

October 17

On Sunday the hybrid pitch at Falcon Oval will officially open, which will be a first in WA. There will be two games played on the day with the men's cricket kicking off at 10am and women's from 4pm.There will be activities for the kids including a bouncy castle and a cricket clinic, full canteen and bar facilities with live music in the afternoon from 4pm and food trucks from 5pm.

SCADaddle for research

October 17

Register to walk, skip or run 5km along scenic Mandurah Foreshore with friends, family and supporters to help raise much needed funds for medical research into SCAD heart attacks. Meeting at 9:30am for a 10am start at the Visitor's Centre, you'll walk/run in a 5km loop. Registration is $31 for adults (including a SCAD cap) and children under 10 walk for free.
