Harcourts Mandurah has been named the top medium-sized office in Western Australia for the number of properties sold.
Director Ben Hatch said the "absolutely amazing result" in the annual 2021 REIWA awards was one the whole team was proud of.
"Our focus has always been on people first, so our main reward is achieving the best outcome for our clients," Mr Hatch said. "However an award like this is an added bonus. It's a reminder that we must be on the right track and gives us a little something to celebrate as a team."
He said Mandurah had been fortunate to have seen favourable market conditions over the last 18 months.
"[This] has helped us in achieving the results we have," he said.
"After nearly six years of sluggish conditions it has been great to see the hard work and persistency of our sales agents paying off.
"As the impact of COVID-19 was starting to hit early last year, as a team we were able to adapt very quickly, remain consistent in our approach and excel in providing outstanding customer service.
"By focusing on building brand awareness, increasing our office profile and introducing external promotions, we were able to be at the forefront of peoples' minds when it came to them thinking about real estate. Add to that the increase in training, we managed to build a reputation of being the trusted advisors in real estate for the greater Mandurah region."
He said the sales team were focused on helping each other and their clients.
"This is backed by strong administration support and a leadership team who all work from our office and are committed to helping our people throughout the community to achieve their goals."
He said this had been the driving force in the office's achievements this year and also part of the reason why eight of the office's sales agents appeared in the top 50 agents list for WA announced by REB late last week
REIWA chief executive Neville Pozzi said it had been a remarkable year for the WA residential sales market, which hit bottom in July 2020 before quickly shifting into a strong recovery phase.
"After a long and sustained downturn, it's wonderful to be able to celebrate the achievements of WA real estate's top performers at a time when the market is performing well," Mr Pozzi said.
