Mandurah police had their hands full with two furry inmates who were found gallivanting in the storm last Friday night.
The two dogs were discovered before the ranger station opened - and brought into 'pup-stody' where they were given a sentence of warm blankets and cuddles.
Police took to twitter to find their family, writing:
"These two cuties are currently in Mandurah Police Custody after being out in the rain all night.
"Mandurah Pol are keen to find their owner. Rangers will be contacted when they start work today if the owner has not been located. Until then it's warm blankets and lots of love."
An hour later, the station posted an update that the pups were granted bail and returned home to their family.
"Both pups have now been reunited with their owner after their late night adventure," their post read.
