It seems it is 'game over' for a young hoon driver in Dawesville who was apprehended by police on the evening of July 27.
Police came upon the vehicle recklessly doing doughnuts on Estuary Road, and subsequently charged a 17-year-old youth.
Mandurah Police posted on their Facebook page that the vehicle "won't be bothering residents again" and will be impounded for 28 days.
Dawesville has been a hot-spot for complaints of hooning and reckless driving, with many residents taking to social media to congratulate police for their work.
"Thank you very much WA police from I'm sure all of Dawesville residents," one comment read.
"Good. Great work. There are so many more around Dawesville but at least one is off the road," said another.
The 17-year-old was charged with one count of reckless driving.
