Back home and if you're in Greater Sydney and wondering how long lockdown is going to last you'll have to wait until at least the weekend to find out, and it certainly won't be an early finish according to NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian.
The state recorded 110 new local COVID-19 cases in the 24 hours to 8pm on Tuesday, up from 78 the previous day. Today's new case numbers should be announced around 11am.
That figure would have been "thousands and thousands" had Greater Sydney not entered lockdown, now in its fourth week, Ms Berejiklian said.
The premier has said the virus must be quashed before restrictions can be lifted.
