Coodanup College Year 12 student Andrew Seaman has kept very busy during after school hours by volunteering as much as he can.
He dedicates all of his spare time to volunteer with the Mandurah SES, WA Police Rangers, and West Murray Volunteer Bush Fire Brigade.
Andrew's parents are very supportive with call outs sometimes being in the early hours of the morning.
Last summer, Andrew was deployed to Wundowie to help with burning and hotspots.
Not only does volunteering make Andrew feel good but has also given him valuable experience in a number of areas.
With the Police Rangers, Andrew has been promoted to a Ranger Sargent often running the drills during the evening services.
In Mandurah SES, Andrew has been fully trained and is now a qualified member assisting in rescues, searching for missing people and helping with clean up after storms.
When not volunteering his time or attending school, you will find Andrew surfing and spending quality time with his family.

When asked what he wanted to do when he left school Andrew said, "I would like to work in a service role and will first apply for the Federal Police".
"My back up will be a member of the WA Police Force as I see myself working in a service role to make the community a safer place."
Andrew's exemplary skills, positive outlook, and his eagerness to help assist the public will see him do well in the career of his choice.
