WA Police detectives with the assistance of the Commonwealth Attorney-General's Department were granted approval to extradite a man from the United Kingdom to face a WA court in relation to child sexual offences allegedly committed between 1984-1987.
In 2011, police commenced an investigation into allegations the man indecently assaulted three siblings who were aged five, nine and ten at the time of the first offence.
In the late 1980s the man left Western Australia and moved interstate before eventually moving overseas, and was located in the United Kingdom during police investigation.
The 60-year-old man from London has been charged with nine counts of indecent treatment of a child under 14.
The man arrived back in Perth on May 15 accompanied by police escorts and is due to appear via video link to the Perth Magistrates Court Sunday, May 16.
