Almost a month on since the election, Premier Mark McGowan's popularity is still undeniable with a painting and dress of him selling for a large amount last week.
Local artist Joanne Colely painted the portrait to raise funds for multiple sclerosis and motor neuron disease.
The painting, which was also entered into the Archibald prize was signed by the Premier.
She also collaborated with fashion designer Mauricio Alpizar to create a gown with Mr McGowan's portrait and the slogan 'Mark my words' on the design.
The dress named the McGown and the painting sold for $10,000.
Ms Colely has now smashed her fundraising goal of $100,000 in only 18 months.
