After a successful start to Primadonna Productions' 18th birthday year with Oliver the Musical, performed by the junior troupe, the company is presenting Monty Python's Spamalot the Musical - this time with their adult troupe.
Spamalot will be Primadonna Productions' 60th show, and will feature a strong cast of eight women and 14 men.
Primadonna Productions director Carole Dhu said the show, that follows the knights of the round table in their search for the holy grail, will "delight" audiences.
Ms Dhu said she was thrilled to be working with a number of performers that she had the joy of working with years before.
"Some of the cast were in a version I directed in 2011 for Murray Music and Drama Club," she said. "They have come back after a decade."
"[The show] features a bevy of beautiful show girls - not to mention cows, killer rabbits, and French people," Ms Dhu said.
"The witch burnings unfortunately were too expensive to stage and we apologise in advance that those scenes have been cancelled," she joked.
Spamalot will be staged as a partnership between Primadonna Productions and the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre, and will be held at the venue for a short season in April of 2021.
