An Australian television program has partnered with a Peel animal sanctuary to film a six-day experience for 12 adventurous cast members.
Those selected to participate in the new adventure and travel television program, Adventure All Stars, will travel to a secret location for an experience that will be broadcast across 24 countries and viewed by over 45 million households.
Greener Pastures Sanctuary secretary Caroline Lythe said the opportunity would be incredible for the sanctuary.
"We are so thrilled to be working with the producers of Adventure All Stars to find cast members," Ms Lythe said.
"Our menagerie of rescued residents are looking for people to undertake a life-changing 6 day journey in the last quarter of 2021."
Greener Pastures Sanctuary is a family run sanctuary that currently houses 170 animals that were rescued from being neglected, abused, abandoned or slaughtered.
"The best part is that the proceeds will go towards the life-changing work that we do here at Greener Pastures," Ms Lythe said.
With the help of the proceeds from Adventure All Stars, Greener Pastures will be able to continue to rescue animals from environments where they would be unsafe.
The Greener Pastures website explains that each of their animal residents has their own tale to tell, and a unique personality to boot.
Ms Lyth said she hoped that with experiences and opportunities such as this, the sanctuary would be able to continue its work for many years to come.
