A new Men's Shed in Mandurah, and an enclosed dog park and community garden in northern Mandurah are among the projects the Liberal government is promising if elected.
Agriculture and Regional Development shadow minister Steve Thomas announced an investment of $2.7 million from Royalties for Regions to fund these additional community facilities in Mandurah.
$500,00 will be allocated for the development of a Men's Shed for Mandurah, and $100,000 each would be invested in creating an enclosed dog park and community garden in Mandurah's northern suburbs.

Dr Thomas said the Mandurah area and Peel region had historically received far less than other regions from the Royalties for Regions fund.
"This triple investment in Mandurah's community is a part of the Liberals plan to make Mandurah an even better place to live," Dr Thomas said.
Mandurah Liberal candidate Ryan Burns said the enhancement of the services in Mandurah would make the City more liveable, and attract people to the area.
"Each of these projects will make lives better here in Mandurah," Mr Burns said.
"I've been out in our community and have received a remarkable amount of ideas and feedback on what we need.
"It's great to commit to supporting activities that contribute to our community, connect friends and help us maintain an active body and mind."
