Peel Aquatic Club superstar Fin Larmour qualified for the Australian Olympic trials on the back of a bedazzling performance at the Western Australian Swimming Championships last month.
The local young gun shone in the 17 boys 100m breast stroke, claiming the gold and putting his hand up for the pre-Olympic event to be held in South Australia this June.
He also finished with the bronze medal in the men's open 100m breast stroke, and took out silver in the men's open 50m breast stroke event.
Larmour's remarkable efforts have seen him reach new heights, as he now sets his sights making a national footprint.
But he wasn't the only Peel Aquatic Club swimmer to make waves at the state championships.
Plenty ended their year on a high with the club's team of 22 taking out the WA Regional Shield for the best-performing regional club.
Ollie Bréhaut held off fierce competition to claim gold in an exciting race in the 16 boys 100m freestyle, and also swam an impressive 10.59 seconds to pull off a personal best in the 200m individual medley, earning him a bronze medal.
Teammate Sean Alcorn, who although is still only 13 years old, stormed home to take out gold medals in both the 14 boys 100m and 200m butterfly.
Caitlin Leather (15 girls) and Calia Vlastuin (16 girls) both finished in gold position in the 200m breast stroke, with Vlastuin also dominating in the 100m race to win her second gold medal of the meet.
Summer Houston claimed bronze in the 15 girls 100m breast stroke and Cody Zambon finished strong to claim silver in the 15 boys 200m individual medley and bronze in the 200m butterfly.
Bréhaut, Vlastuin and Alcorn not only earned themselves podium finishes, but also achieved qualifying times for Australian Age Nationals to be held on the Gold Coast in April.
"I'm absolutely thrilled we now have seven individual age and open national qualifiers as well as four relay teams heading to Australian Nationals this year," head coach Pat Stellino said.
"The whole team put in a fantastic performance."
Club President Darren Michael heaped praise on the swimmers.
"All of our members should be truly proud of their efforts and results," he said.
"A huge thank you to Pat Stellino and his coaching team who have once again put together a great program that has had our swimmers' competition ready both physically and mentally."
The Peel Aquatic Club is currently on the lookout for young swimmers in the region.
