A rainy start to the month and a late spurt of downpours saw Mandurah post its wettest November on record.
The month came to a close with yesterday's wet weather pushing the total rainfall recorded across the 30-day span to 63.4mm, enough to break the previous November peak of 57.2mm recorded in 2012.
But it was the first day of the month providing the bulk of that rain.
Some 17mm drenched the city on Sunday, November 1, followed by another 10mm over the next two days.
The 10th and 13th days of the month also produced heavy spurts, and the record was officially breached thanks to 8.4mm of rain breaking through on the 15th.
The weather dried up over the ensuing two weeks, before yesterday's showers added another 3.8mm to the tally for good measure.
The final tally sits three times higher than the average amount of rain Mandurah receives across the month of November, and indeed bests that of which we received in August this year.
It was also a colder than usual November, with the mean maximum temperature sitting at just 23.3 degrees Celsius, some 1.6 degrees cooler than the monthly average.
Those conditions are expected to take a sharp turn in summer, however, with the Bureau of Meteorology forecasting a hotter than average summer across Western Australia's coast.
The immediate forecast shows sunny skies over the next week for Mandurah, with temperatures ranging between highs of 24 and 28 degrees.
