A flash mob is hoping to achieve a world first, performing the full Jerusalema line dance which has become an internet sensation.
The dance challenge took off in February this year.
As COVID-19 caused lockdowns in African countries and around the world, it was a group of six friends in Angola who made a video of themselves dancing to the foot-tapping number, while taking bites of food from plates in one hand.
Come down to watch and support dancers doing the Jerusalema Dance World Challenge in Mandjar Square between Reading Cinema and the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on Sunday, December 13 at 11am.
Dancers will warm up to Red Hot Salsa, Geronimo Easy, Lonely Drum and finally Jerusalema featuring Alison Johnstone, Perth's own creative choreographer of this dance which has now gone viral.
The event will be filmed by photographer Michael Goodall and uploaded to YouTube.
Should the COVID situation change, then the event will not go ahead.
