Shoalwater Bay struck a blow in their Peel Cricket Association season opener, taking down reigning premiers Pinjarra on the back of an excellent performance with the ball from Seth Kennedy.
Kennedy put a choke hold on the Tigers as they attempted to chase down the Seals' total, snaring 3/16 from 10 overs.
But while he was helping to deliver the victory, it was opening batsman Matt Rose setting it up.
Rose piled up 45 runs from just 46 deliveries, spearheading an innings that included an even slate of contributions.
Brendan Gillian was also in fine touch, going unbeaten for 42 runs as Shoalwater Bay posted 199 before being dismissed.
The Tigers went in with a steep chase on their hands, and it started horribly when Jamie Lee, Josh Smith and Jason Poolman were all dismissed for single-figure totals.
Reeling at 3/34, regular wickets continued to fall for the Tigers.
Chris Zadow attempted to breathe life into the innings with a knock of 32, but his efforts proved futile as Kennedy led the bowling attack alongside Shane Bliss, who notched his own brilliant figures at 3/19.
Together they restricted Pinjarra to just 130 runs before being all out.
The win boosts Shoalwater Bay to the top of the ladder after round one.
