Get yourselves down to Mandurah Performing Arts Centre these October school holidays and join in the free fun pop-up art activations, both inside and outside in Mandjar Square.

MPAC is back with another celebration this October school holidays but with a whole new range of activities.

Supported by Healthway promoting the Live Lighter message, they are keen to support our community to change the food and physical activity environment.

So, with this in mind, they will be incorporating fun physical activity and healthy free snacks and recipes.

We all know Mandurah loves dogs, so MPAC is asking families to help us make a big one!

Assist artist Kerry Davies decorate a 1.5m dog sculpture by cutting and tying on its "fur".

Bring your old t-shirts and fabric scraps (or use MPAC's) to add your piece to this collaborative art project.

MPAC will also be partnering with Anglicare who will be bringing along lots of fun kid's activities, including dress ups, art and craft, a quiet reading space and exercises.

The free event is running on the following days:

  • Tuesday, October 6 - 10am to 2pm;
  • Wednesday, October 7 - 10am to 2pm;
  • Thursday, October 8 - 10am to 2pm.

This event is going ahead with social distancing and is adhering to all current restrictions and protocol.
