South Mandurah sealed their spot in the Dudley Tuckey Cup grand final with a late flurry of goals boosting them to a victory over Baldivis on Sunday afternoon.
The Falcons trailed by 11 points more than 15 minutes into the fourth quarter and Baldivis looked likely to set up a rematch with Rockingham, but forwards Cody Nelson and Brody Wemm snatched victory from their hands as they combined for a pair of late goals to deliver an 8.7 (55) to 7.6 (48) win.
Indeed South Mandurah trailed for the majority of the game after Baldivis landed the first punch, but they scored six of the past seven goals to win the match and head into the grand final with the wind in their sails.
The Brumbies seemed poised to be the victors early, however, as they kept the Falcons goalless in the first term while Callum Black went on a rampage.

The gun forward booted three of Baldivis' four goals in the opening term with Jarrad Heal accounting for the remainder as they went into the first break with a 28-point buffer.
But the scoring dried up for the reigning premiers in the second, as they went without a single point in the term.
South Mandurah meanwhile found life through a pair of goals to Nelson, and were able to cut the margin to 13 at half time.
The Falcons appeared to have momentum coming out of the break, but with Mitch Raynsford and Hayden Lynn in hot form Baldivis was able to get the jump on them.
When Black converted his fourth goal midway through the term, the Brumbies found themselves leading by 26 points.
But the Falcons refused to let their season slip away.
Cameron Gavin was influential all day long and was rewarded with a pair of goals on the cusp of three quarter time, and all of a sudden South Mandurah trailed by just seven points at the final change.
Kyle Smith nailed the first major of the fourth to give Baldivis a bit of breathing space, and with neither side scoring for the next 15 minutes it looked likely the Falcons would fall short.
But they mustered one last assault at the lead, and Nelson brought them within five points before Wemm gave them the lead at the 22-minute mark of the final quarter.
It was only a minute later that Nelson would score his fourth for the day to assure the Falcons the victory.
The win sees South Mandurah move into the Dudley Tuckey Cup grand final, where they will clash with an unbeaten Rockingham this coming Sunday.
