South Mandurah sured up back-to-back PFNL second division premierships in a heart-stopping grand final win over Safety Bay on Saturday afternoon.
The Stingers had a kick after the siren to win it, but Tyson Higgins' effort fell short as the Falcons clung on to win the flag 6.8 (44) to 6.4 (40).

The game looked just about over when a Sean Starkey goal put the Falcons up 16 points five minutes into the final term, but Safety Bay came storming home in the end.
Goals to Josh Prosser and Brandon Burt within the space of two minutes saw them trailing by just four points, with half the final term still to play out.
It was in the dying minutes that a 50m penalty was given against Craig Callaghan, one which could have come at the ultimate price, but Higgins' shot through the wind from a fair distance failed to score as the siren sounded.
Early on it was all Stingers, though.
They landed a punch to South Mandurah's mouth when they nailed the first three goals of the game.
Mbimbi Mbimbi and Burt looked lively up front and found a way to conjure the only two goals of the first term, as Safety Bay took the lead into quarter time.
They extended the margin less than two minutes into the second term, with Cal Anderson earning reward for some solid play.
But the Falcons found life after that.
Greg Sanders snared the best on ground medal on the day, and it was the 40-year-old snaring South Mandurah's first goal as he got them on the board in the second.
Callaghan and Ben Stevenson soon followed suit and all of a sudden the game was on level pegging, before Mbimbi nailed his second to keep Safety Bay slightly ahead at half time.
It was all Falcons in the third as Callaghan and Cory Wilson nailed the only majors, though, and after a chaotic fourth quarter their side was able to hold on and claim their second straight flag.
