Nominations for the Peel Volunteer of the Year awards are now open.
Now in their 13th year, the awards promote the value and important contribution of volunteering to the social, cultural, economic and environmental well-being of the Peel community.
They also pay tribute to those who encourage and promote the spirit of volunteerism though their exemplary accomplishments.
Those making contributions to sporting clubs, social services, community groups and emergency services will all be recognised through the awards.
Categories for nominees include Peel volunteer, Peel youth volunteer and Peel community group.
The awards are supported by the City of Mandurah, Shire of Murray and Shire of Waroona, along with Alcoa.

Nominations close October 30.
