Five Peel women will share their personal stories and encourage other local women to put their health first this week.
Their stories will be published daily starting Monday, on the Serpentine Jarrahdale's website and social media pages.
Volunteer Sue Gray, cattle stud farmer Michele Fleming, children's health advocate Salli Galvin, community support worker Shivani Diwan and college student Sophie Scott will be profiled on the Shire's digital platforms, sharing what they do to stay positive and mentally healthy.
It is part of the Shire's online campaign to celebrate Women's Health Week.
Shire president Michelle Rich said the council was committed to providing information that empowered residents to make informed healthy choices for themselves and their families.
"One of the objectives of our recently adopted Health and Wellbeing Strategy is to grow healthy and active lifestyles, together," Cr Rich said.
"In the current COVID-19 climate, it is more important than ever that we take care of both our physical and mental health and look after one another."
"A big thank you to Sue, Salli, Michele, Shivani and Sophie for sharing their stories and health tips."
This campaign follows on from the successful Men's Health Week promotion launched by the Shire in June.
