We are committed to working with the community to deliver a world class, environmentally sustainable development with wide ranging social and economic benefits at Point Grey that delivers on the need for diversified housing options in one of the country's fastest growing regions.

As we move towards lodging the Activity Centre Plan for Point Grey we would like to reaffirm that commitment and invite those from the local community to share their views. We conducted an initial two-part online survey of those both from the local community and further afield about what they liked and disliked about the project and what amenities they would like to see there in May of this year.

We had more than 500 responses and found that more than 75 percent of respondents regarded the proposed Point Grey development as important to the future of the region with job creation one of the most commonly identified factors.

We also asked respondents to detail what amenities they would like to see at Point Grey and received a variety of responses including leisure facilities, parks, bush reserves, shopping and medical facilities.

We are committed to working closely with the local community and our next step is to conduct a more in depth survey to further understand what the community wants and we welcome input from the community at all times.

We attend bingo at the Erskine Bowling Club every Thursday. No social distancing whatsoever. No details taken of names, yet it's mainly elderly people. Disappointing to see.

If the Liberal Party and Clive Palmer get their way with the borders there is no doubt there will be a second wave. They failed to support the McGowan Government with the stance by Clive Palmer to open the borders and now talk about a second wave. Premier McGowan is doing his best to prevent that happening. The Liberal Party has pushed and pushed that the hard border should be opened and now we hear them say they support it. Is this because the people of WA actually want to stay safe and get our economy started?
