Baldivis stormed to a mighty win over Halls Head on the back of 12 combined goals from star forwards Blaine Johnson and Ben Higgs.
The gun duo booted six apiece as the Brumbies cantered to a whopping 25.20 (170) to 6.2 (38) victory.
Halls Head looked up for the fight early, booting three goals in the first term with David Motsi proving productive.
But while efficient with their own scoring, they were unable to stop the Brumbies from putting their own points on the board.
By the end of the first quarter Baldivis had already piled up six of their own goals, undoing the hard work of a young Lightning outfit to snare a 21-point lead at the end of one.
From there they really put their foot down.
With Jarrad Heal (four goals) and Josh Branchi (three) joining Higgs and Johnson as big scorers on the day, Baldivis was able to conjure a further eight goals to Halls Head's one in the second term.
The reigning premiers were out to a massive 67-point buffer at half time, a lead that would prove unassailable as they continued their rampage into the second half.
Halls Head battled hard with Liam Lockley continuing his good form while Miles Costley proved valuable, but the Lightning was only able to put a single goal on the board as Baldivis refused to ease up.
The margin was up to a staggering 94 points by the end of the third, and the home side added another six goals for good measure in the final quarter.
Their dominance sees them move a win closer to South Mandurah on the ladder, as the Brumbies sit in third with a 2-2 record through their first four games.
It also sets up a tantalising match against the league-leading Rockingham next week, in what will be the second grand final rematch of the Dudley Tuckey Cup campaign.
The Rams, currently unbeaten, got the chocolates last time the two PFNL powerhouses met at Anniversary Park.
But Baldivis will have the home field advantage this time around, and will be eager to undo the 10-goal drubbing they were handed by their rivals in round one.
The Rams will be coming off their own big win, having decimated Centrals last weekend.
The looming epic kicks off at Baldivis Oval this Sunday, 2.30pm.
