The removal of a 200-tonne kiln that came off the back of a truck will cause road closures in Dawesville this weekend.
Specialist large cranes will be on deck for the removal, which is expected to start at 7pm on Friday, July 24 and should be completed by 7am the following Monday.
Main Roads advises during the removal there will be a full closure of Old Coast Road, between Estuary Road and Tims Thicket Road.
Signs will be in place to direct drivers through a short detour for light traffic via Estuary Road, while heavy vehicles will be directed via Forrest Highway and Pinjarra Road.
The kiln fell when the truck carrying it rolled just after crossing the Dawesville Bridge at about 2am on Sunday, July 12.
It stretches roughly 80m long and has since remained on the roadside.
Main Roads Heavy Vehicles is investigating the incident and and says their compliance team will take action if required.
