A teenager has been arrested after an out-of-control party in Dawesville at the weekend.
Just after 10.40pm on Saturday, July 11, police were called to a large gathering on Narembeen Road after reports of disturbances and street drinking in the area.
At least 90-100 youths were present at the party with an additional 20-30 young people outside in the street.
Police declared it an out-of-control event at 12.30am and the person in charge of the party was spoken to.
The party was closed down and police remained present for some time while all party goers departed the house and the area.
A 17-year-old man was arrested for disorderly and fail to disperse and will be dealt with at a later date.
