A pair of homes in Halls Head were hit hard by Sunday night's stormy weather.
Harsh winds rolling in off the beach saw a two-storey house's roof ripped off and sent flying into the home behind it, causing damage to the second home's roof and eventually landing in a pool area.
The Mandurah SES unit tended to both houses after receiving the callout around midnight, patching them up with tarpaulins into the early hours of Monday morning.
The job was one of six callouts the SES unit attended overnight, with crew members still working on jobs as late as Monday afternoon.
Pinjarra was also hit by harsh winds with gusts of 118 kilometres per hour topping the state.
Thousands of properties also experienced power outages on Sunday night, with some homes in the Peel region still without electricity on Monday morning.
