Mandurah Just Joey Marsupial Care is still operating 24 hours per day to take in wildlife needing care or vet treatment.
We specialise in marsupial joeys of any kind. We will take in any Native wildlife except water or sea birds, or poisonous snakes.
We are exempt from isolation as are our vets. We rescue and release wildlife while practising safe distance, hygiene and wearing masks. We expect rescuers to do the same.
Please take note: members of the public under new laws are not permitted to care for native wildlife. You can rescue, then wildlife must be handed to a licensed, registered DBCA wildlife carer centre. The sooner you can hand them over, the sooner you will be giving them a higher chance of living a normal healthy life.
This is the season for pinky joeys. So please check the pouches of deceased mums from road trauma etc. There may be a small pink furless joey inside. If you cant manage yourself, please call us 24/7 so we can arrange for some one to come out to assist.
